FASHION...

BUT MAKE IT REPURPOSED

In a world of fast fashion so many clothes go to waste. They end up in landfills, production uses up non-renewable resources and the industry creates 10% of global emissions. Recycled Stardust is a small clothing line that I created to repurpose articles of clothing, using scraps and leftover vinyl, giving these clothes a second life. How The Recycled Stardust Line Is Created:

Clean Clothes

I find thrifted and donated, gently used clothes that are ready for a new and improved life.

I wash them and make adjustments, such as cropping. (Don't worry, I reuse those scraps too!)

Using leftover vinyl scraps & pieces,

I repurpose them to add magical and celestial elements.

Then I take photos of all my repurposed creations & add it to my site to be put back into the world!

How Recycled Stardust Started:

i created this line after seeing all the leftover/wasted vinyl from my moonchild sweatshirts, and was determined to use up every last scrap. i didn't want to purchase brand new shirts though, as that would just benefit the fast fashion industry.

it was then that i realized there are so many perfectly good articles of clothing, whether they have been gently used or still have tags on them, waiting around in thrift stores, relative's closets and garage sales. thus, recycled stardust was born.

since then, i have now adapted this model to my moonchild sweatshirts, which kickstarted this entire idea. i no longer purchase brand new clothes, i only upcycle and recycle old ones.
